San Francisco, CA (April, 24th, 2025)Peak Design, a global leader in mobile and everyday carry solutions, is excited to announce the GNAR Case – a highly-protective mobile case that combines rugged durability with Peak Design’s refined aesthetic and convenient Slimlink connection system. Engineered for life in the dirt but designed without the bulk, the GNAR Case is perfect for motorsports enthusiasts, active junkies or anyone who wants extra protection and mounting capabilities for their phones.

Mobile cases that claim to be rugged have a few things in common–needless bulk, over-the-top looks and an inability to wirelessly charge. Peak Design’s GNAR Case disavows this trend. Slightly bigger than its ultra-slim predecessor, the Everyday Case, Peak Design’s GNAR Case was designed with an additional millimeter of padding (3.2mm thick) and an additional millimeter to its full-surround, shock-absorbing TPU bumper (4.4mm). These minor adjustments, along with a raised camera and screen bezel, allow the GNAR Case to achieve drop protection of 4.5M–more than 2x greater than the Everyday Case–while maintaining a flat and thin profile for a hand and pocket-friendly feel. The slim profile also allows GNAR Case to deliver ultra-fast Qi2 charging speeds via its precision-tuned Magsafe-compatible magnet array.

Like all Peak Design cases, the GNAR Case incorporates Peak Design’s Slimlink mounting technology–the most intuitive and fastest mounting technology available. When paired with Peak Design’s Moto Mount, Car Mount or Bike Mount (sold separately), the GNAR Case is a dream carrying solution for any speed freak. For those that prefer their miles in the dirt, a removable USB-C plug helps prevent water and dirt ingress while a scratch-and-stain resistant external finish makes cleaning the GNAR Case a breeze. Extra-wide anodized aluminum power and volume buttons and a diamond-knurled edge increases the grip and usability of the GNAR Case. This peace-of-mind means riders can confidently keep their gloves on, or off, when making phone calls, texting or taking photos.

“One of the biggest gripes with other phone mounting ecosystems is that you’re forced to adopt an ugly, bulky afterthought of a phone case,” commented Peak Design Founder & CEO, Peter Dering. “For us, the case is where we started, and it’s the place where we continue to provide more and better options than any other system.”

The GNAR Case will be available on April 24 for iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, with plans to support additional phone models in the future. For more information, go to peakdesign.com.
