Original Penguin Golf by Munsingwear, a division of Perry Ellis International, released its Spring 2023 Golf collections for men and women, offering prints, classic styling and technical fabrics.

“For the Spring 2023 collection, we dug deep into the Munsingwear archives of the 70s and 80s and recreated several of the original prints and patterns while incorporating modern fabrications,” said Lupe Benitez, senior vice president, Design. “Our fabrics are superior high-gauge knits with cooling touch, dull polyester and elastane blends, all utilizing ventilation, recycled yarn and eco-friendly finishes. These new designs also come with a modern tailored fit, both sophisticated and trim yet roomy enough to swing uninhibitedly.”
Highlights of the Men’s Spring 2023 collection include Heritage polos with an enlarged Pete emblem, seersucker printed shorts and new hybrid board shorts, and graphic tees inspired by Munsingwear archive illustrations.
The psychedelic and carefree style of the 60s and 70s inspires the Women’s collection, including cutout detailing across the body on top silhouettes with semi-sheer mesh, taping and heritage piping to create pops of color. Fabrics are high lux gauge dull recycled yarns with elastane, 4-way lightweight wovens, and 8-way stretch jersey.
Performance and comfort details include moisture-wicking, UPF protection, Primaloft insulation, tummy control, and soft elastic gripper tape on bottoms.
Highlights of the women’s collection include Veronica performance polos, dresses and sun protection outerwear, Heritage color block skorts, and
abstract, geo printed and retro floral polos and skorts.
