$1,000 prize matched and donated to two Arizona nonprofits.
Flagstaff, AZ, December 18, 2019 – Kahtoola, creator of award-winning MICROspikes® and NANOspikes® footwear traction, is proud to announce it has received the “New Product Showcase Award” at The Running Event (TRE) in December 2019. Chosen by fellow TRE attendees, Kahtoola’s new EXOspikes™ (versatile traction for flexible footwear) took home the honors.

As part of the recognition, TRE gifted Kahtoola $1,000 to donate to a nonprofit or charity of their choice. Kahtoola matched the award gift for a grand total of $2,000 to be shared between two local nonprofits as recipients, Team Run Flagstaff – Youth and Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona. Both organizations promote and support running among underserved populations local to Flagstaff and Northern Arizona, where Kahtoola has been headquartered for 20 years.
