Helinox and Café Kitsuné recently collaborated on a limited-edition collection using the foundation of Helinox’s Café Chair and Café Table, customized with Café Kitsuné design details, including both brand logos and 600-denier polyester fabric in a custom orange colorway inspired by Café Kitsuné’s signature palette.
The smooth table features reversible graphics, with one side set for games of chess and checkers and the other for Go, Pente and other games that use a 19 x 19 grid. The furniture packs down for ease of carry and storage and assembles quickly.
The Café Chair is shaped similarly to Helinox’s Chair One but sits higher off the ground, with a more upright sitting posture for a “true café feel.” To support the taller height, Helinox bolstered the design with stronger hubs, a wider base and larger diameter alloy legs. The seat height slides under a standard 28-inch tall table, complementing the Helinox Café Table. The Café Chair offers a capacity of up to 320 lbs and is made with DAC alloy and 600 denier polyester.
The Café Table’s high-pressure laminate top offers a smooth surface that wipes clean and can withstand temperatures of up to 356°F (180°C) for short periods or 212°F (100 C°) for up to eight hours. The shock-corded, DAC aluminum legs are easily assembled and snap into the tabletop for transport, with the table carried by a removable handle that snaps into place. The hub allows the legs to rotate independently when opening and closing.
