New Head of Marketing Mark Mechelse is helping guide the brand updates by bringing a shopper marketing and consumer research background focused on health and wellness occasions to the Headsweats team. With his expertise in retail and shopping spanning across some of the largest retailers in North America, including mass, grocery, and drug outlets, Mechelse is paramount in directing the brand refresh and new opportunities as Headsweats breaks into retail with their own product lines.
“Headsweats is built on a strong e-commerce presence and with Mark’s help we are excited to bring that same experience to customers in-person,” said Jim Heese, Headsweats CEO. “Mark has helped develop many strategies around innovation and enhanced customer experiences, so his knowledge will continue to elevate the Headsweats brand and take us to the next level.”
During the brand refresh, reducing contamination and plastic consumption is a priority for Headsweats as they remain committed to fostering sustainable manufacturing practices from the top down. Current sustainability efforts include solar energy panels and biomass energy production at their best-in-class, 100% vertically integrated manufacturing facility.
