Tacoma, WA – October 29, 2024 – Exped, maker of Swiss designed outdoor equipment, announces eco-friendly updates to its legendary MegaMat sleeping mat for 2025 along with the MegaSleep sleeping bag and the Mega Pillow camp pillow. The brand new MegaPump rounds out the collection. Exped USA is partnering with REI for early access of the updated Mega collection this month, with availability in select REI stores and online at REI.com before it is more widely distributed early next year.

With a 4″ thick sleeping platform comprised of high-quality open-cell polyurethane foam, MegaMat provides ample thickness with 3D edge-to-edge construction to keep most campers from “bottoming out.” Exact firmness is customizable by adding more air with the included Top-Up Pump accessory or purging excess air via the one-way inflate FlatValve.

New: Surface material now made from 100 percrent recycled polyester. Exped’s signature 4-way stretch tricot polyester material amplifies the cradling effect and provides a soft next-to-skin feel.
