Bajío Sunglasses, a maker of blue-light filtering, sustainably-made performance sunglasses, added the unisex Eldora to its 2023 collection featuring the brand’s built-in Sun Ledges blocking the sun’s rays.

“The flats in front of Eldora House are literally in our backyard and one of our favorite places to chase tailing reds. So we’re stoked to have a frame that carries its name. “says Al Perkinson, founder of Bajio. “Eldora is quickly becoming the go-to frame for women who want to look great while not sacrificing performance. It looks good on dudes, too, if they’re brave enough to step out and try a new look.”

Eldora frames are made from plant-based bio-resin that biodegrades quickly, are stronger and lighter than plastic frames, are smaller with extra wide sun-blocking temples, and include non-slip rubber nose pads and rubber temple tips for a snug fit.

Eldora is offered in thirteen lens options—seven lens colors made from lightweight, bio-based polycarbonate and six made from glass. Both polycarbonate and glass lenses feature anti-scratch properties and oleophobic coatings, which make sunscreen and water easy to remove.

All Bajío lenses feature the brand’s polarized proprietary Lapis technology, and each lens is designed for specific light conditions and environments.

The Eldora is also available in polycarbonate RX lenses and Bajío’s new reader lenses. For more product information, go here
