Arc’teryx welcomed snowboarder Elena Hight to its athlete team.

Kauai born and Lake Tahoe raised, Hight started her career in competitive snowboarding. After two decades pushing to progress in the sport, including two trips to the Olympics and seven X Games medals, she made the switch from competitions and into the backcountry to try something outside of her comfort zone.

Hight’s pursuits have helped her reconnect with snowboarding and the mountains while landing in film projects including Blank Canvas, Full Moon and Snowboarder Magazine’s Unconditional.

Outside of snowboarding, Hight is passionate about getting people into nature and advocating for environmental protection through her work with Protect Our Winters. “Arc’teryx’s commitment to making the best gear possible is unparalleled,” said Hight. “I am looking forward to being a part of product development and providing input from a snowboarder’s perspective. I’m equally enthusiastic to partner with a brand that’s aligned with my personal values and is constantly striving to be a leader in the outdoor space.”

“We’re proud to welcome Elena to the Arc’teryx team,” said Justin Sweeny, Arc’teryx Global Athlete Manager. “Her perspective will be impactful as we continue to evolve and improve our product needs for women, snowboarders and those looking for the best gear to get them outside. We’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
