Since 1977; the engineers, designers, backpackers and dog lovers at Gregory Mountain Products have been focused on one thing: building backpacks that you can trust. Backpacks that you can trust to carry-well, last a lifetime and get you to where you need to go. Gregory carries this focus into spring 2020 as the brand introduces the new FreeFloat Hybrid suspension system. A first in the industry, the new suspension system is an evolution in dynamic fit and carry, and will be featured on the redesigned Paragon and women’s specific Maven.

Starting at just over 3-pounds, the Paragon and Maven are Gregory’s premium offering in the lightweight, multi-day backpack category. Spring 2020, the packs are receiving a full update with an innovative new suspension system and feature set.  The fully adjustable FreeFloat Hybrid suspension system utilizes two flex panels, located in the lower back, that flex and move with the natural movements of your body for a dynamic carry. The flex panels are integrated into a Comfort Cradle hipbelt with 3D construction for a hotspot free carry and a body-hugging fit. The 3D foam back panel is cross-cut for added breathability and designed to minimize contact while keeping the pack weight close to the center of gravity for a stable carry.

In addition to the new suspension system, the Paragon and Maven come with a full set of features designed specifically for backpackers. The sunglass QuickStow on the shoulder harness offers quick, secure access to your shades. An internal hydration sleeve features Gregory’s innovative SpeedClip mounting system for seamless integration with the 3D Hydro reservoir. Front and side stretch mesh pockets offer quick access to water and additional layers, and a full-length side zipper offers easy access to the main compartment. The Paragon is available in three capacities: 48, 58 and 68-liters. The Maven is available in 45, 55 and 65-liters.

Another first in the category, Gregory is re-introducing its best-selling 3D Hydro reservoir with a patented flex-molded 3D design, SpeedClip mounting system, and QuickDry hanger. The flex-molded 3D design allows the reservoir to retain its shape, dramatically speeding drying time and discouraging bacteria growth. New for 2020, the 3D Hydro will also feature a soft-molded handle that provides full-length support for easy filling, and a quick disconnect so you can fill the reservoir without un-threading the hose from the shoulder harness. The 3D Hydro is compatible with all Gregory packs, including the new Paragon and Maven, and is included in Gregory’s new Citro and Juno H20 hiking packs. It can also be purchased individually in 2-liter and 3-liter capacities.

Gregory will be showcasing its new and updated products at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, June 18-20, in Denver, CO, Booth #36081.
