JLL announced that Greg Maloney is retiring effective December 31, 2022. Maloney has worked with the company since it was founded in 1999. Kristin Mueller, a longtime partner and the current COO of JLL’s Property Management, will replace Maloney as president of the company’s Retail Property Management business.
Since taking the helm in 2002, Maloney expanded and diversified JLL’s portfolio from a predominantly mall-managed business of 20 malls to more than 500 managed malls, open-air and lifestyle centers totaling more than 75 million square feet. JLL is the largest third-party retail manager in North America. Maloney also expanded JLL in the retail capital markets and retail brokerage businesses.

Mueller had been the COO of JLL’s Property Management business. She will partner with Naveen Jaggi the president of JLL’s Retail Advisory Services to oversee client satisfaction and engagement, new business, management and national leasing efforts in the Americas. Mueller was an integral part of the Retail Property Management business for more than two decades before taking on the role of COO. She’s progressed through her career holding every property position, including general manager and regional manager across eight states, leading business development and as COO of retail.
