Premier Golf has acquired Women’s Golf & Travel Concierge, expanding its niche and expertise in the golf travel business.
Women’s Golf Travel & Concierge provides golf travel packages and information on golf schools and clinics designed for women and their families. The company also offers packages to the international (Europe versus the U.S.) Solheim Cup. Company founder Barbara Gutstadt will continue to lead the business as director of Women’s Golf & Travel Concierge under the Premier Golf umbrella.
Premier Golf has been a licensed partner of the PGA of America for more than 26 years, managing many facets of the organization’s in-house travel department, professional golf management programs nationwide and package fulfillment for PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, FL. The company also operates trips to several classic and famous golf destinations worldwide for individuals as well as small, mid-size and large groups.
Since 1991, Premier Golf has been licensed by the PGA of America as the only official source for Ryder Cup packages, sending more than 25,000 people to the event.
“We are thrilled to have Women’s Golf Travel & Concierge as part of the Premier Golf family,” said Jim Ward, president of Premier Golf. “Barbara has long been a champion for women’s golf and having her on board further enhances our ability to provide outstanding golf vacations, particularly for women who are new to the game.”
“Premier Golf has long held the same commitment to client service and satisfaction that we have had at Women’s Golf &Travel Concierge,” Gutstadt said. “In addition, our commitment to providing packages to the Solheim Cup mirrors the tremendous work Premier Golf has done with the Ryder Cup. It’s truly exciting to be part of a company dedicated to delivering world-class travel packages across the globe.”
