Power Tee, the automated golf teeing system based in the U.K., named golf industry veteran William Gray as sales director. Having held sales management positions at PXG, Trackman and Wilson Golf, Gray also spent 15 years in the club fitting sector.
Founded by U.K.-born Martin Wyeth and Clare Dibley, Power Tee’s proprietary auto-teeing system ensures a desirable lie and speeds up practice in teaching sessions with automatically teed balls at desired heights. The company’s equipment is installed and featured at “80 percent of the golf ranges in the U.K.”
“My passion and background lie in helping grow companies in the golf industry who have breakthrough products and massive growth potential. I felt like Power Tee is growing rapidly here in America for all the right reasons,” said Gray. “Everybody’s adding technology to golf courses and driving ranges right now, and we really want to optimize the practice experience at country clubs and golf courses.”
Gray will be based in Nashville, TN.
