Winmark Corporation, the parent of Play It Again Sports, announced its net income for the quarter, ended September 25, 2021, of $10.08 million, or $2.67 per share, compared to a net income of $9.4 million, or $2.43, a year ago.
For the nine months ended September 25, 2021, net income was $28.3 million, or $7.40 per share diluted, compared to a net income of $21.7 million, or $5.63 per share diluted, for the same period last year.

Winmark’s resale franchises include Plato’s Closet, Once Upon A Child, Play It Again Sports, Style Encore, and Music Go Round. At September 25, 2021, it had 1,269 franchises in operation and over 2,000 available territories. An additional 39 franchises have been awarded but are not open.
