Winmark Corp. announced net income for the quarter ended March 26, 2022 of $9.85 million, or $2.65 per share. Compared to a net income of $9.3 million, or $2.40, in 2021.
Sales, largely representing royalties, were $20.0 million against $18.7 million a year ago.
Winmark resale franchises include Plato’s Closet, Once Upon A Child, Play It Again Sports, Style Encore, and Music Go Round.
At March 26, 2022, there were 1,276 franchises in operation and over 2,800 available territories. An additional 44 franchises have been awarded but are not open.
