Winmark Corporation, parent company to Play It Again Sports, recorded a 20.6% increase in net revenues for the second quarter to $7.6 million. Merchandise sales revenues increased 51.1% for the quarter to $1.2 million, while franchise fee revenues decreased 9.4% to $417,400. Net income for the quarter decreased 15.9% to $547,200, or 10 cents per share diluted, compared to net income of $650,400, or 11 cents per share diluted, in 2006.
