Play Ball USA will hold its annual meeting June 10 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. On June 11, they will hold a silent auction of sports memorabilia at the groupâs booth on the trade show floor. Approximately 50 items will be displayed for the auction, which will begin at 10 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. The proceeds of the auction will go toward funding baseball/softball equipment to new start-up programs around the country.
At the Play Ball USA annual meeting, board members will be elected to serve during the year beginning Oct. 1. Members also will report on 2007 program activities, which are expected to include about 20 new community programs around the country. Additionally, a three-year business plan will be developed and 2008 budgets approved.
