Piper Sandler Companies hired Anna Andreeva, formerly at Needham & Company, as a managing director and senior research analyst, bolstering its consumer equity research team.

Andreeva will join the New York office and is responsible for footwear, softlines and global brand analysis.

Before Piper Sandler, Andreeva spent over 15 years in retail and apparel. Most recently, she was a managing director at Needham & Company, covering e-commerce and global brands. Before that, she was a senior analyst at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., working in the consumer discretionary sector.

Andreeva began her career in equity research at J.P. Morgan, where she was part of the number one-ranked Institutional Investor team covering specialty retail.
