Picklemall leased a 46,000-square-foot lease in Vernon Hills, IL, a suburb north of Chicago, to serve as a flagship location for the company’s indoor pickleball concept.
Under the backing of financier and Major League Pickleball Founder Steve Kuhn, Picklemall offers “cutting-edge technology that extends beyond the court booking process” within a climate-controlled environment. The start-up aims to establish 50 Picklemall facilities nationwide within the next two years.
Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) represented Picklemall on the Vernon Hills lease at 5555 Town Line Road. Toys “R” we formerly occupied the space. The company expects to complete the buildout in the first quarter of 2024 and open in winter 2024.
Picklemall has one location that opened at the Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe, AZ, in July 2023. CEO West Shaw is leading the concept.
