PGA Tour Superstore's first store on the West Coast will be in East Palo Alto, CA. Scheduled to open in the spring of 2013, the 47,000-square-foot superstore is located at 1751 East Bayshore Road, former site of Best Buy.

“We are particularly excited about expanding into East Palo Alto, which is a premier area in America for golf enthusiasts,” said PGA Tour Superstore President and CEO Dick Sullivan. “Our goal is to build relationships with our customers by providing a great experience in an inviting environment, and we are happy to have the opportunity to do so in the East Palo Alto community.”

With the addition of this store, the number of PGA Tour Superstores will increase nationwide to 16. PGA Tour Superstore currently has three stores in metro Atlanta; two each in Chicago, Dallas, TX, Myrtle Beach, SC and Phoenix; one each in Denver, CO and Paramus, NJ; and two in Florida: Naples and Delray Beach. The stores are owned and operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., whose controlling owner and chairman is Arthur M. Blank, retired Home Depot co-founder and owner of the Atlanta Falcons.

“Our new customers will quickly see that we are equipped to serve a broad range of golfers, with an emphasis on offering the industry's best brands, fitting products to each customer's needs, and providing the broadest array of golf services,” Blank noted. “We make it easy to get in, and stay in, the game. We look forward to bringing our store's products, services and expertise to golfers in East Palo Alto, and to being a positive contributor in the community.”
