PGA Tour Superstore signed leases for three new stores in 2017.
PGA Tour Superstore recently acquired a Sports Authority location in Glendale, AZ, set to open in January 2017, and is also planning new stores in Hilton Head, SC (for April 2017) and Jacksonville, FL (later next year). This November, it will also open a 45,500-square-foot store in Woodland TX, its 27th location.
“There are more than 26 million golfers in America and there is a demand for the experience we provide,” said Dick Sullivan, president and CEO. “We have built a retail model that is second to none and we’re eager to bring our unmatched retail experience to golf-centric markets.”
Glendale represents the company’s fifth Arizona location (joining Chandler, North Scottsdale, Scottsdale and Tucson), while Hilton Head represents their third store in South Carolina (Myrtle Beach and South Myrtle Beach) and Jacksonville will be the fourth Florida location (Delray Beach, Naples and Orlando).
PGA Tour Superstores are staffed with PGA of America teaching professionals and house up to 14 swing simulators and hitting bays, as well as a putting green and an in-house club making and repair.
PGA Tour Superstore is operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop Inc., a subsidiary of AMB Group LLC, headquartered in Roswell, GA.
