The PGA Fall Expo will be held Sept. 28-29 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and significant format changes have been made to increase interaction opportunities among manufacturers and buyers.

PGA Golf Exhibitions has secured an adjustment in 2005 PGA Fall Expo dates to reduce weekend and potential overtime expenses associated with exhibitors’ move in and move out. The 2005 PGA Fall Expo will be held Sept. 28-29, with move in Sept. 26-27 and move out on Sept. 30. Originally scheduled Sept. 26-28, exhibitors would have moved in on Sunday, Sept. 25, and moved out by midnight on Sept. 28. Also, the move has given the event premier positioning within the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) on the main floor.

“We sought out the opportunity to reduce exhibitor move-in and move-out expenses and at the same time were able to negotiate a better position within the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 2005 PGA Fall Expo,” said PGA golf exhibitions vice president and show manager Ed Several. “Better dates, better venue positioning and now, an improved format to better facilitate interaction among manufacturers and buyers – all add up to what we anticipate to be an exciting and productive fall marketplace for our industry.”

The PGA Fall Expo format is receiving a makeover to maximize attendee time at the event while increasing the opportunities for manufacturers and buyers to interact. The new schedule includes:

  • An enhanced Demo Night & Networking Party: Sept. 28th, 6-9 p.m., at Callaway Golf Center
  • A streamlined education conference: Sept. 28th-29th, 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at the LVCC
  • New exhibit hours: Sept. 28th, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. & Sept. 29th, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • New contests, special events & give-aways packed into the final two hours of the Show: Sept. 29th, 2-4 p.m.

The PGA Fall Expo annually hosts thousands of industry professionals from nearly 30 countries to preview the latest golf-related products of more than 300 manufacturers within 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space. In addition to the demo events, networking functions and the education conference, the exhibit floor features an Equipment Test Center (ETC), New Product Center and the 19th Hole – a place to relax, meet and dine with friends right on the Show floor.
