Petzl America disclosed that it hired Minneapolis-based Figure 8 Sales, headed by James Loveridge, to represent its products in the Midwestern United States effective in January.
Hailing from Minneapolis, Loveridge has been an avid climber for 23 years. As such, he has a deep understanding of the Petzl end-user, as well as exceptional hands-on experience with Petzl products. Loveridge also brings 12 years of experience as an outdoor industry sales rep in the Midwest to his new position.
Loveridge previously owned and operated an outdoor shop in Marquette, MI, and worked as the vendor sales manager at Quality Bicycle Products in Bloomington, MN. He currently serves as the president of the non-profit Minnesota Climbers Association.
“All told, James' skill set gives him the rare opportunity to see the industry from a buyer's, sales rep's, climber's, and distributor's perspective,” says Petzl America Sales Director Tom Adams. “Petzl America is excited to have Figure 8 Sales as a part of our team.”
