Pertex has appointed former Marmot outerwear category manager Brian Loveless as U.S. sales representative for the brand’s fabrics and technologies.
Loveless will represent many of the Pacific Northwest and Western accounts managed by Barry Garlick, Pertex U.S. sales manager, who, after 13 years with Pertex, retired at the end of last month. Loveless will work alongside Ben Burde, who represents Pertex key accounts in the remaining U.S. regions.
Prior to joining Pertex, Loveless spent the last 10 years at Marmot holding managerial product development, merchandising and raw material positions with the company’s outerwear and sleeping bag categories.
“Brian has a deep understanding of materials and what it takes to be a strong brand partner,” said Steve Laycock, Pertex brand director. “We are happy to have him join our team as we continue to grow and support the Pertex brand in the U.S.”
“Working with the Pertex team is a wonderful opportunity that I could not pass up,” said Loveless. “I look forward to a successful future with Pertex and all of our brand partners.”
