Performance Bicycle appointed Mark Leydecker as senior vice president of merchandising. Leydecker, who served in various capacities with the brand from 1995 to 2005, will be responsible for all brand merchandising activities, leading a team focused on development and innovation to continue the company’s rapid growth and commitment to quality service.

Formerly, Leydecker served as the director of planning & distribution, general manager of Bike Nashbar, and vice president of Bike Nashbar and Supergo. In these positions, Leydecker helped the brand expand its retail, catalog and e-commerce sectors, while also assisting with wholesale nationwide.

He also served as the managing director for Mavic USA and led its U.S. division. He has also previously worked with The Limited, the GH Bass Company, and Endicott Johnson. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration from Husson College.
