Pentland Brands has announced new executive team responsibilities, and the addition of a new chief marketing officer role, to help drive the international growth of its portfolio of sports, outdoor and active brands.
Richard Newcombe, pictured right, currently president of the footwear division, was appointed president, EMEA. While continuing to lead the footwear division, Newcombe will be responsible for increasing brand presence and sales across priority EMEA markets.
Andy Long, CEO, continues to lead the executive team with Chirag Patel taking on deputy CEO responsibilities, alongside his current role as COO, which includes overseeing the Pentland Brands business in the Americas.
In addition, recruitment has started for a chief marketing officer. This new role, reporting to Patel, pictured bottom left, will take responsibility for strategy, product and marketing across the brand portfolio.
Matt Rock continues as president, Asia Pacific and global supply chain, Katrina Nurse, who joined the business from Selfridges in 2018, continues as chief finance officer and Katrina Wright continues in her role as chief human resource officer.

After 10 years at Pentland Brands, Carl Davies, president, EMEA & Americas, will leave the business at the end of September.
