Pensole Footwear Design Academy, based in Portland, OR, announced the launch of a series of professional development courses by the name of Pensole Capsoles. The courses will be held in conjunction with the Two Ten Footwear Foundation and the NW/NE Apparel and Footwear Materials Shows, at locations on the west and east coasts.

Weve established these courses in two of the nations top footwear states-Oregon and Massachusetts-with two highly respected industry partners, Two Ten and the Materials Shows,  Pensole founder DWayne Edwards said. Pensole Capsoles will each be three days in length and cover topics such as: Materials Design-fundamentals of color, materials and finishes; By Design-leadership, concept development and storytelling; and You Got Briefed!-writing a perfect product brief.
