Carolyn Tisch Blodgett, Peloton’s head of global marketing, is leaving the company after four years. Her last day is May 29.

Blodgett shared the news in a LinkedIn post, saying she was expecting a third child this summer and was looking forward to spending time with her family. She said she informed the company of her decision to step down last month.

She wrote in her post, “Some bittersweet news to share – last month I announced that I would be stepping down as Peloton’s Head of Global Marketing at the end of May after an unforgettable four years. As the first brand hire in 2016, it has been such an honor to help lead Peloton’s growth to over 2 million members and be a part of the team that helped bring this brand public. From winning an Effie for our first Olympics campaign to launching the Peloton Tread, I have loved working with so many incredible people, most importantly our inspiring community of members around the world. I will continue to serve in an advisory role with Peloton after my last day on May 29, which will give me needed family time as I will be welcoming my third baby into the world this summer. Thank you to my team and everyone at Peloton. I will forever be a part of the Peloton family and eternally thankful for this journey…”

Peloton president William Lynch shared with Busines Insider, “Carolyn played a key role in laying the foundation for Peloton’s success. In the last few years, Carolyn has risen to lead our global marketing function where she’s built a world-class organization and made an indelible mark across our company.”

Blodgett previously was a marketing and strategy consultant for the New York Giants. Before that, she was a senior brand manager at PepsiCo.
