Pearl Izumi, the manufacturer of performance cycling apparel and accessories, has appointed Gwen van Lingen-OLY as vice president of Brand, effective immediately.
Van Lingen-OLY brings over 15 years of experience in brand and marketing leadership, having “successfully led integrated campaigns and product launches for global lifestyle and sports brands,” said the company in a media release.
She joins the company from Norco Bikes, where she was most recently head of the brand. She has also worked in South Africa for Oakley, South Africa and the Middle East with Oakley parent Luxottica and in the U.S. with Oakley for nearly nine years in key senior marketing roles.

As VP of Brand, van Lingen will lead the brand’s strategic direction, oversee marketing initiatives, creative campaigns, and consumer engagement. She will also work closely with cross-functional teams to further enhance the company’s position in performance and sustainability.
