Pact, the Boulder, CO-based apparel brand, has appointed Michelle Poole, the former president of Crocs, as brand president.
Poole confirmed her hire in a LinkedIn post, stating that she has served on the Pact board since 2018, writing, “I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Pact as Brand President!
“Pact is a sustainable apparel brand on a mission to dress the world with wellness, offering versatile, organic essentials made of 100 percent GOTS-certified materials in Fair Trade-certified factories.
“I’m energized to help scale a brand with such a strong purpose at its core, and I can’t wait to work alongside the talented Pact team to expand our product offerings, deepen consumer engagement, and continue leading in sustainable fashion.
“Here’s to building the next chapter of growth and impact — sustainably, mindfully, and with heart.”
Poole retired from Crocs in May 2024. She remained in an advisory role through early 2025. She was at Crocs for nearly 10 years, including as president since September 2020. Before that role, she was EVP and xhief product and merchandising officer.
Other roles in her 32-year career included SVP of Global Product Management at Sperry Top-Sider, VP of Women’s Footwear at Timberland, president of the U.S. at Kangol, and category manager of Action Sports at Converse.
Pact is led by CEO Brendan Synnott who acquired the brand in 2011.
