Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. opened its first three One Thousand Steps stores. The company's new specialty footwear and accessories concept makes its initial debut at the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside, California; Los Cerritos Center in Cerritos, California and the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This new mall-based concept will be targeted at an 18-24 year old customer and will feature an assortment of casual, fashion-forward, branded footwear and related accessories.

Featured footwear brands include Tsubo, Puma, Diesel, Charles David, Steve Madden and Kenneth Cole Reaction. Accessories brands include watches by Nixon and Diesel, belts by Ben Sherman, Kenneth Cole and Lucky, messenger bags by Puma and Medium and handbags by Lucky, Charles David and Betseyville by Betsey Johnson.
