Pacific Cycle hired industry veteran Andy Hawley as its new International Marketing Coordinator.

As Pacific Cycle's International Marketing Coordinator, Hawley is charged with monitoring brand strategy and usage, providing guidelines and support regarding marketing collateral and coordinating marketing operations between Pacific Cycle's international distributor base and its U.S. Headquarters.

“Andy knows the international dealer channel well and has already shown great initiative with proactive communication with our international distributor base,” said Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Mo Moorman. “His extensive background of bicycle tech, sales and warranty has let him hit the ground running and we're very pleased.”

“I'm happy to be here and to be a part of the Pacific Cycle team,” said Hawley. “I've been welcomed by the staff at Pacific as well as the international distributors and I'm looking forward to enhancing that part of our business.”

Hawley spent nearly eight years at Trek, serving as an inside sales rep, a tech rep and an international technical advisor and service representative. Prior to that he spent nearly four years at Budget Bicycle Center in Madison and served as the retailer's tandem, recumbent and road bike shop team leader. Hawley will now work with Pacific Cycle's GT, Mongoose and Schwinn international dealers from the company's Madison headquarters.

“Our international distributors are very talented and are an important part of our business,” said Hawley. “I want to ensure that they have the tools they need and that we're sharing best practices that benefit the whole of the organization.”
