The first Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show in Denver , January 25-28, 2018 at the Colorado Convention Center, officially opened for registration and the exhibitor list is available.

The show is followed by a two-day demo, the SnowSports Industries America (SIA)/Western Winter Sports Representative Association (WWSRA) On Snow Demo at Copper Mountain, January 29-30, 2018.

“If I can impart one idea, this show will not be business as usual,” said Marisa Nicholson, vice president and show director for Outdoor Retailer. “This is a new show and the first time in nearly 30 years that the outdoor and snow sports industries will be together under one roof. Retailers on both sides now have access to the entire spectrum of winter products: outdoor, ski, snowboard; big, small; iconic or new – they are all here. Brands and reps benefit from having all their retailers in one place. They can showcase their entire product lines and talk about bigger-picture plans and programs. But more than anything, we are excited about the exchange of ideas. We can’t wait to see what new partnerships, advocacy and participation efforts can come from these industries coming together.”

The day before the show, on January 24, SnowSports Industries America (SIA) and Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) will co-host the Industry + Intelligence Day, a thought- provoking day of discussions and presentations around topics such as participation, the retail eco-system, sustainability, public policy and public lands, climate change, trends and research. OIA and SIA will also join forces to provide education during the show. Look for a daily educational breakfast, morning session, lunch session and an afternoon session on Days 1-3, January 25 – January 27.

“One of the most anticipated revelations is the floorplan,” continued Nicholson. “We plan to release this in early November, and it will reflect the diversity of the winter sports industry and provide new intersections for commerce, while helping retailers discover the brands and products for a successful season. There will be exhibits on all three levels of the Colorado Convention Center and we’re incorporating the best features from both shows, each with a new twist, including Venture Out, Luxe, The Camp, Rental World and more. We are especially excited about a new partnership with the Scandinavian Outdoor Group to bring the Scandinavian Village to life at Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show. The Scandinavian Village has been a magnetic community area at ISPO and OutDoor and gives our attendees the opportunity to experience the energy, diversity and culture of these Scandinavian brands while in Denver.”

Attendees are encouraged to register and book their hotels early. Outdoor Retailer’s move to Denver means that almost all the hotels within the housing block are within walking distance to the Colorado Convention Center. Outdoor Retailer will run shuttles to hotels at Cherry Creek, the only housing-block properties outside of the walk zone. All attendees can book now through EventSphere, Outdoor Retailer’s official housing partner.
