Outdoor Research, the Seattle-based producer of technical outdoor apparel and accessories, has partnered with Locally, an online platform that helps connect consumers with in-stock products at retailers located near them. Visitors to the brand’s website will be offered the option to purchase from retailers in their area who stock those items in their store.
“Our retail partners are an invaluable extension of our brand, by providing customers with expert product education, first-hand demos, and above all, their passion for our gear,” said Norin Crawford, head of direct sales, Outdoor Research. “As more than half of our consumers start their shopping search online today but often still seek the hands-on service that a brick-and-mortar retailer can provide, we sought a solution that gives the customer the information they need to choose how they prefer to shop, where they want, how they want. The Locally platform is a bridge to allow both local retailers and brands to work together to provide a seamless customer experience.”
