Outdoor Research has hired Dave Mahoney as the Director of Sales US West. Mahoney comes to Outdoor Research with an extensive background in the Outdoor Industry, most recently as Outdoor Sales Manager for Cloudveil. He has a great understanding of the Footwear Industry, as well as an extensive sales experience within the Outdoor Industry. Alex Kutches, VP of Sales and Marketing said, “Daves knowledge of the retail environment as well as a strong familiarity with what it takes to sell across North America and internationally will be a huge asset to the OR team.”

Mahoney, a life long outdoor enthusiast, has been both a climbing guide and fly fishing guide. “I think that his knowledge as a user will help guide ORs growth and help us maintain our values as a leader in functional gear and clothing,” said Christian Folk, PR Coordinator. “I look forward to contributing in all aspects of this fast growing technical brand,” said Mahoney.
