John Whitt assumed the new position of VP of manufacturing for Ouray
Sportswear, LLC Jan. 7. The company supplies decorated sportswear to the resort and college bookstore markets.


In this new position, Whitt will oversee the company's screen print, embroidery and production art departments, said Ouray President Ryan Harrington. 


Whitt brings to Ouray a wealth of experience from a life-long career in the manufacturing of custom product including a ten-year period of managing the production floor at Gear For Sports. In addition John is  accredited as being a black belt in lean six-sigma along with a strong intuitive understanding of process management.
