Osprey Packs, Inc., an independent pack company located in the high desert and mountains of Southwestern Colorado, has named Kerry McCarthy as Ospreys new marketing associate.
McCarthy comes to Osprey from the Pacific Northwest and brings a myriad of outdoor experience to the table. While living in New Zealand, McCarthy earned her graduates degree in Communication Design. She has marketing, design and photography experience from her time in the ski industry, which includes stints with K2 and Ski Magazine. She also spent several years traveling and backpacking throughout the world, and is a passionate skier and biker.
“Kerrys sales and promotional experience, as well as her love for outdoor and mountain sports, brings a lot of skill and value to the position,” said Gareth Martins, director of Marketing for Osprey. “She fits right in with Ospreys employee environment of assiduous team players who like to work hard and play hard.”
McCarthy will provide support in the areas of graphics, website administration, consumer events, advertising creative direction and planning.
