Insole manufacturer OrthoLite partnered with pitcher Mariano Rivera, five-time World Series champion formerly of the New York Yankees. Through the year-long partnership, Rivera will act as the official brand ambassador for OrthoLite and will collaborate with the brand on a variety of initiatives, including supporting the Mariano Rivera Foundation.
“Throughout my pitching career, I’ve experienced first-hand the importance of having proper footwear to perform at my best during training and during a game on the mound,” said Mariano Rivera. “I’m excited to team up with OrthoLite, a brand that provides the ultimate in comfort and performance for athletes of all ages.”
Earlier this spring, OrthoLite became the Official Insole of the New York Yankees to engage consumers both in-stadium and on television, as well as through collaborative promotional efforts, during the 2016/17 seasons.
“Mo has a special place in the hearts of baseball fans worldwide and we’re thrilled to work with him and support his inspiring Mariano Rivera Foundation,” said Glenn Barrett, CEO of OrthoLite. “His commitment to performance on the field and beyond makes him the perfect fit to serve as our new brand ambassador for athletes and fans alike. We look forward to this partnership that brings together the industry’s leading insole with one of the best players in the MLB.”
OrthoLite, headquartered in Amherst, MA, is a supplier of open cell foam insoles found in shoe brands such as Nike, Asics, Clarks, New Balance, Merrell, Puma, Vans and Timberland.
