The American Trail Running Association (ATRA) announced that OrthoLite has renewed their partnership, which includes the moniker, “Official Insole of ATRA,” as well as a promotional program to be announced later this year that is tailored to reaching ATRA’s audience of trail runners nationwide.

OrthoLite has been a major supporter of ATRA since the mid-2000s, the most of which has been as an official partner.

“We are proud to further our long-standing partnership with ATRA as the trail and mountain running community’s official insole,” said Dan Legor, director of marketing for OrthoLite. “Our goal is to enhance the trail running experience for athletes at every level with superior comfort and performance insole technology.”

Adam W. Chase, ATRA president, remarked, “Partnering with OrthoLite is a natural affiliation, given OthoLite’s long-standing commitment to running in general and, for years, its dedication to off-road. It will be a pleasure to work with a company that is so connected to our sport and we look forward to continuing such a beneficial relationship.”

ATRA is dedicated to providing educational tools such as its events standards program which debuted in March 2012, Rules on the Run, Trail Tips, Trail Running Camp Standards, and Event Sustainability. Additional content is offered through its quarterly newsletter – Trail Times, and monthly e-newsletters – one for race participants, another for race directors. In 2019, various resources will be featured in the trail news section of ATRA’s website supporting ATRA’s theme for the year – Trail Running Responsibility.

An update to ATRA’s online calendar includes an enhanced search engine for trail runners to enjoy more than two decades of data in over 8,000 events. The website dovetails with ATRA’s social media presence, all of which are expertly managed by online marketing director Richard Bolt. The website provides information for participants and fans of the sport and features relevant content via the Trail News portal, and links to reliable resources. Bolt will work closely with OrthoLite to integrate the brand on ATRA’s various social media channels.

Said Bolt, “We’re so glad to have OrthoLite on board as an ATRA corporate partner. For trail runners, the benefits of an OrthoLite insole are particularly helpful – moisture management, breathability and cushioning. Running on rugged, muddy and dusty off-road terrain is tough on your feet and OrthoLite is there to support us!”
