OrthoLite partnered with Step & Stride, of Vida Shoes International, reintroducing the brand to the marketplace with a new fall/winter 2016 collection offering footwear for boys and girls from infant to age six.
The collection will become available in national footwear stores, department stores, independent retailers and online for the fall 2016 season.
In 1969, Step & Stride was introduced into the market with shoes for babies. Vida is looking to resurrect this heritage brand and add Step & Stride to its portfolio.
“Performance is key when you’re on the go, and Step & Stride leverages OrthoLite technologies and designs to provide high quality footwear for kids with the ultimate comfort,” said Pamela Gelsomini, OrthoLite president. “Step & Stride is a brand that consumers can go to for all of their kids footwear needs from play to dress as their feet grow.”
The fall/winter collection takes a back-to-basics approach and features OrthoLite co-branded footbeds in all of its styles, including the Kate, Derby and Lyon.
“Step & Stride has a rich and magical history in the footwear industry, conveying a whimsical feel,” said Luis Gonzalez Palacio, design director of Step & Stride. “This collection features OrthoLite’s identifiable proprietary technology in each style helping keep feet healthy and stink free. Uniquely flexible outsoles and dual density cushioning keep feet comfortable for all day play, and removable insoles in every style offer the option for both medium and wide widths. The focus on comfort, wellness, and fit with OrthoLite sets Step & Stride shoes apart from the competition.”
