Orangetheory Fitness, a franchise offering group personal training workouts broken into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training, opened its 500th studio in Seattle-Ballard, WA at 2032 NW Market Street.
To mark the company’s 69-percent increase in studio openings in 2016 from the same time last year, Orangetheory Fitness is bringing Fox Sports broadcaster and ABC’s Dancing With The Stars television host Erin Andrews on board as a brand ambassador.
“From the moment I first stepped into the studio, I knew I was going to love Orangetheory Fitness,” said Erin Andrews. “I’ve been around sports and fitness my entire life and can honestly say that I haven’t experienced a brand with a leadership team that exudes as much passion as Orangetheory.”
Andrews will help launch the brand’s 2017 marketing campaign “There is no after,” which aims to show how its members are constantly in a state of improvement. The campaign kicks off on January 1, 2017.
“We knew when we opened our first studio six years ago that we were onto something,” said Dave Long, co-founder and CEO. “But what we’ve experienced with Orangetheory Fitness has simply blown me away. We’re excited to celebrate what we’ve accomplished thus far, but are continuing to plan for an even more successful future. Trust me when I say, we are just getting started.”
Orangetheory Fitness launched its first studio in Fort Lauderdale, FL in March 2010, and now has 500 studios in 40 states and seven countries, including U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Colombia. The fitness franchise is on track to open 700 studios by 2017.
