Oofos launched its first full-coverage recovery shoe with the new Oomg low- and high-top shoes.
The leader in recovery footwear is expanding its product offerings to include a more versatile shoe with the recovery benefits of the brand’s unique Oofoam technology. Starting at $120 MSRP for the low and $130 MSRP for the high, the new Oomgs are now available for purchase in women’s sizes at select specialty retailers across the country and online at Oofos.com and while supplies last. Men’s sizes will be available starting in 2018.
“In response to our consumers, we are thrilled to launch our first-ever full-coverage recovery shoe,” said Duncan Finigan, brand leader of marketing at Oofos. “The new Oomg collection features a breakthrough concept in shoe construction that allows them to have the full benefit of the Oofoam technology and Oofos patented foot bed all year round.”
Like all Oofos products, the Oomgs are made of a proprietary material called Oofoam that absorbs 37 percent more impact than traditional footwear. The new closed-toe, closed-back shoes come in a range of colors and feature a four-way stretch mesh upper that conforms to the foot for comfort while also allowing for the foot to move naturally to enhance the recovery process. A stretchable strap across the top of the shoe to adds support without binding.
