O'Neill Clothing announced the appointment of Marty Mathiesen to the
position of VP of Men's Sales and Rhea Aslin as the VP of Juniors
Merchandising. Both will oversee the day-to-day operations of their
respective departments and will report to O'Neill Clothing CEO Toby
Bost. Mathiesen succeeds Charlie Setzler, who recently became the
president of Rusty Clothing. Aslin assumes a new position within the
company.

La Jolla Group, which owns O'Neill Clothing, in August acquired the North American rights for apparel and accessories for Rusty.

“The additions of Marty and Rhea solidify our commitment to growing our
business and becoming the leading Action Sports brand,” said Bost.
“Both Marty and Rhea bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our
ambitious and talented team. We are excited about the current direction
of the brand and accelerating our growth plans in 2008.”

Mathiesen spent the last five years at Reef as the Director of Domestic
Sales, and prior to that, he spent six years at Oakley as a top
performing sales rep.

“I'm excited to join an authentic surf brand with a deep rooted
heritage,” said Mathiesen. “It is amazing to be a part of a team with
such a solid foundation and tremendous momentum. I am stoked to be
working alongside some of the best sales reps in the industry and
helping them expand our footprint in the marketplace.”

Aslin joins O'Neill after spending a couple of years at Lucky Brand
Jeans as the Director of Merchandising for Women's Apparel and
Accessories. Prior to Lucky, Aslin spent five years at Pac Sun, with
her last role as the Divisional Merchandise Manager of Juniors. Aslin
has over 14 years experience in the Juniors business and is excited
about her new role.

“I am thrilled to have joined one of the leaders in the surfwear
industry,” said Aslin. “I am excited to be a part of a team that has
had so much success and am looking forward to helping take the brand to
the next level.”
