OnCore Innovations, the manufacturer of golf technology, including the Genius ball and game-enhancing products, announced that professional golfer, Ryder Cup star, six-time DP World Tour winner, and one of Europe’s biggest hitters, Thomas Pieters has joined as an investor and shareholder. This follows a growing lineup of elite athletes and strategic partners who have invested in the company.
Pieters joins NFL quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen, professional golfers Taylor Gooch and Harold Varner III, investors Chuck Schwab, and LAB Golf, who, with a combination of athletic and business acumen, will drive OnCore Innovations’ mission to elevate the game for professionals and amateurs.
“I’m thrilled to join OnCore Innovations and to be part of a team that’s reshaping golf through technology,” Pieters shared. “The GENiUS ball, in particular, holds incredible potential to elevate the experience for players of all levels by giving them real-time insights that can change how they approach and improve their game. I’m excited to see how far we can take it.”
OnCore’s Genius ball leverages embedded sensor technology to provide players with ball velocity, spin rates, distance, and trajectory data, giving golfers insights to refine their skills.
“Having Thomas on board is both an honor and a powerful endorsement of our vision and the technology we’re bringing to the golf community, stated CEO Keith Blakely. His experience and passion for the game, combined with the support of our committed investors, are invaluable as we strive to make the Genius Ball and our technology accessible to players everywhere. We couldn’t be more grateful for the enthusiasm and expertise our investors bring, helping us reach our goals of delivering unmatched innovation in golf.”
