Olympia Sports, a regional Sporting Goods retailer operating 200-plus stories in small to mid-sized markets in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, opened its 223rd location on May 13. The store is located at Nelson’s Corner Shopping Center and is the fifth in the state of New Jersey. Around 10-15 full and part time employees are expected to be staffed.
“The athletes in Hillsborough deserve access to premium products and excellent service. Our research shows that Hillsborough and its surrounding towns have a real need for what we offer,” said Ed Manganello, president, Olympia Sports.
Olympia Sports has been in operation since 1975 and specializes in premium brand athletic footwear, equipment and apparel from marquee brands like Nike and Under Armour. Although focused on team sports, Olympia also caters to fitness enthusiasts and sports fans.
