The intellectual property and related assets of Olympia Sports, which filed for bankruptcy last September to liquidate its remaining 35 stores, are on the selling block, including the trademarks for Olympia Sports, Clever Training and Surf Outfitter.
Hilco Streambank, specializing in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and intellectual property dispositions, is handling the sale. Bids are due on February 7, with plans for an auction on February 9. The sales remain subject to approval by The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Assets for sale include trademarks, customer data for 640,000 customers (with an e-mail address, mailing address, and/or SMS numbers), owned image library, and marketplace accounts. Domain names include OlympiaSports.net, CleverTraining.com, SurfOutfitter.com, BrooklynHalf.com, RunColorado.com, and ClothesBuy.com.
