The Outdoor Industry Womens Coalition, which is dedicated to helping women in the outdoor industry advance their careers, is hosting nearly 20 regional events in 2010 with a focus on six regions that are home to a concentration of outdoor companies.
The group will offer two different types of events:
Regional Events will be hosted by either REI or EMS, these events focus on professional development topics under the 2010 theme of ‘Advancing Your Career with a speaker or panel of experts, plus plenty of time for networking.
Network Nights will be hosted by OIWC sponsor companies and will provide members with an opportunity to network with each other while visiting and learning about a specific company in their region.
