OIA has hired Scott Chavkin as its new director of marketing and communications to oversee all aspects of the association's day-to-day marketing and communications needs.
Scott has over 15 years of experience in consumer packaged goods marketing with a depth of experience coming in the organic/natural products industry. His background includes extensive work in high level strategic marketing, communications, branding, messaging, product development, sponsorships, events, tradeshows, creative management and team management.
“The addition of Scott will enable OIA to ensure our programs, services and legislative efforts on behalf of the industry will be effectively communicated to all members of our industry,” said Ann Obenchain, vice president of member services and marketing. “In addition, we are pleased to have someone with Scott's experience and insight join our marketing and communications team.”
