Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) Board of Director elections officially opened at 8:00 a.m. (MST) on Wednesday, June 18. This year there are six open seats on the OIA Board of Directors, and the OIA Nominations Committee has presented a list of new and incumbent Board Member nominees.


The current nominees broken down by their category, are:

  • Brian Unmacht, Executive VP of Sales, Service, Store Development and Logistics – REI (Second Term)
  • Scott Sible, President – Wolverine Worldwide Inc. Outdoor Group (Merrell/Patagonia Footwear)
  • Bill Sweasy, Chairman and CEO – Red Wing Shoe Company (Second Term)
  • Zohar Ziv, COO – Deckers Outdoor Corporation
  • Fred Clark, CEO – Thule (Second Term)
  • Don Hildebrand, Vice President and CFO – Confluence (Second Term)
  • Peter Metcalf, Co-Founder, CEO/President and Chairman – Black Diamond Equipment (Second Term)
  • Sam Solomon, President and CEO – The Coleman Company
  • Gordon Seabury, CEO – Horny Toad (Second Term)
