Ogio International delivered the largest support check to a new veterans job training program at the 4th Annual SAP NS2 Solutions Summit.
The $83,000 was raised through Ogio’s patriotic “Stars & Stripes” collection, created specifically to raise money and awareness for NS2 Serves, a program designed to train and employ veterans for high-tech careers.
“This is the largest donation we’ve received to date and all of it will go directly to help us continue to improve veteran’s lives,” said Steve Kupcha, executive director of NS2 Serves.
“This is the largest donation we’ve received to date and all of it will go directly to help us continue to improve veteran’s lives,” said Steve Kupcha, executive director of NS2 Serves. “We look forward to growing our partnership with Ogio.”
Ogio solidified a partnership with NS2 Serves when the non-profit commenced operations in 2014. NS2 Serves’ program condenses 18 months of business training into 13 weeks. Using a military familiar “all in” format, select veterans live on site, attend training 10 hours a day, 6 days a week focused on data management, public speaking, finance, accounting, managerial skills and more.
“The Stars & Stripes collection was inspired by those that choose to serve and sacrifice to ensure our security and protect our freedoms.”
“The Stars & Stripes collection was inspired by those that choose to serve and sacrifice to ensure our security and protect our freedoms. It’s our duty as citizens to find a way to serve them back,” said Tom Gocke, Ogio’s Global Vice President of Golf. “In the spirit of serving, every single person on the Ogio team has contributed to the success of this program.”
Ogio will introduce its 2016 “Stars & Stripes, Special Ops” edition at the January PGA Show in Orlando, Florida. Proceeds will continue to support NS2 Serves.
