Aspen-based Sport Obermeyer appointed Lisa Skelton as a sales representative, responsible for the Great Lakes East territory. Skelton, who has worked and lived in Michigan for over 25 years, will report to Aspen-based Linda Rodney, director of sales for Obermeyer.

“We are thrilled to begin a long-term partnership with Lisa as she takes on the Great Lakes East region,” said Linda Rodney. “We admire her incredible energy, passion and professionalism and are confident in her continued success.”

Skelton began her career 25 years ago in the Midwest. Her passion for skiing drove her to seek a career in the industry and she began representing brands including Spyder, Descente, Karbon and Skea. A few years into her career, Skelton started a business with her husband Ray Skelton, also a sales representative, and the two went on to work with an array of snow sports brands. As longtime business partners, the pair currently represents Turtlefur, Élan, Dalbello and Leki. Skelton now brings her surplus of experience to Obermeyer, expanding on her relationships and work in the territory.

Originally from Southern California, Skelton now resides with her husband and daughter in Okemos, MI where she enjoys the outdoors, traveling and skiing with her family.
